Young Women's Camp

Elder Wigg and I went to speak at Young Women's camp.
It was held at the ECC: Ecumenical Christian Centre.

What a wonderful setting for the 1st ever District Young Women's Conference in Bangalore, India!!

This was the first view we saw upon arrival, but it got better still.

What a perfect setting for camp.

The colors are vivid and exceptional!
Each flower is beautiful, just like each Young Woman!

These are the young women from Bangalore 1st Branch.
The young women wanted us to teach them to dance but we had no music.
So they put someone's phone up to the microphone and we danced.
This is the photo that appeared in the Church News on Young Women's Camps.  Pretty cool!
My favorite thing - taking pictures!
We got to dance a little.
Elder Wigg really kicked up his heels!

These 2 little dolls had so many moves to the Indian music, it was super fun to watch.

 Just hanging out!

It was fun to be a part of it and see all the girls enjoying themselves.

Haircut

It was time for little 4 year old Emmanuel to get a haircut and his parents asked me if I could do it.

Of course, I said sure.
These first 2 photos, his hair is cut in a bowl cut, almost straight around.
I should have had a picture with dry hair first, to see the contrast better.
His hair is wet, ready to cut.
Now he is looking like a little boy, with nice short hair.
It was pretty funny, because he was so wiggly and couldn't sit still.  He kept flicking the hair off the cape with his hands from underneath, you know, hitting the cape and sending the hair flying into the air!
 Now, look how good!
Emmanuel is such a cute little guy.
He then had a fun time running around the kitchen (once he got the itchy cape and shirt off) striking a pose!
Here he is up on the island, having fun.
I'm not sure if this is karate, or showing the muscles? But look how adorable he looks!!

Manny, you will be a future amazing missionary!

Couples Training

The week before couples training we had a new Canadian Couple arrive!

Welcome to Elder & Sister Tiefenbach from Regina!

They will be serving in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, south of Bangalore.

Lunch at Laajawaab, true Indian buffet cuisine!

Couples Training!
All the Senior Couples serving in India were brought into Bangalore for a conference or couples training by President & Sister Funk.
Hey, hey!  Supper at Chilli's Restaurant was a fun experience.  We are only missing Allison's as they were landing at the airport later than everyone else.
This is a fun look around the restaurant.
Elder & Sister Tiefenbach from Regina are serving as Member/Leader Support in Coimbatore.
Elder & Sister Hatch, from Cardston, are serving a welfare or Humanitarian mission in Hyderabad.
Elder & Sister Sharma, from Delhi are serving a Family History Mission in Hyderabad.
 President & Sister Funk
Last, but not least, Elder & Sister Wigg, the Mission Office Couple, enjoying Chilli's!
This is the group of couples at Chilli's.  It was such fun eating out together.

These next 3 photos were taken by Sister Funk at Couples Training, so I thought I would include them here.
 Elder Wigg, paying attention.
We had a wonderful day of learning and testimony.
I must admit, that during the day, with the sun streaming in the windows, I felt a little sleepy. Can you tell?  But then, I would stir and get back into the meeting.

Outside of the Mission Home.  The condo complex is amazing.
 Beautiful design and atmosphere
Do you like this one better with natural light, or the next with flash assist?
These are the couples gathered for a photo after Couples Training at the Mission Home.
