President's Birthday

The First of August was President Funk's Birthday!

We celebrated with a wonderful lunch in the conference room of the Service Center.

 Lunch preparations are underway.
 Many hands make light work.
Neel was having a hard time with the candles.  They didn't seem to have any wick.
Elder Wigg and others are waiting for lunch.
Sister Funk and the birthday boy have arrived.
Still, the physical facilities guys are struggling with the candles.
Now it's all working.  President Funk says a few words.
It's so great to see him happy, especially on his birthday.
And the tradition continues - blowing out the candles.

This looks like prayer time, and time to eat! There's Tandoori Chicken (my favorite) and Rice and Chicken Curry and Mutton Curry and Butter Naan.  Then we had cake and ice cream.  Sister Funk made the cake and it was exceptional.
It was delicious and a good time was had by all.  Thank you, President & Sister Funk.
